Mortal Kombat 11: Ash Williams Might Still be Added!

Mortal Kombat is one of the oldest Arcade fighting games in existence. The first version of the game came out in 1992, like Mortal Kombat. It was developed and published by Midway, but it reached every home platform because it was taken over by Acclaim Entertainment. Mortal Kombat quickly became a favorite in the fighting genre. Over time it has proven to be one of the best-selling games with multiple spin-offs, sequels and film adaptations under its belt.

The game follows different characters who’ve entered a Martial Arts tournament with global ramifications. These are well trained, lethal fighters who each have their own reasons to be there.
The game wasn’t well-received by all
As the popularity of the game grew, people called the game out for its overly realistic digitized gruesome graphics. This was the controversy surrounding the video gaming industry, as it moved towards age-specific content descriptor ratings for video games. And thus, players above a certain age could enjoy the unique five-button control scheme and finish off competitors with as many “Fatalities” as they want.
And over the years, Mortal Kombat also became a franchise famous for having crossover characters like the Joker, Spawn, Robocop and even the Terminator are still trying to add Evil Dead’s Ash Williams. It had been speculated for a while that this addition might happen and a data miner was even discovered through Mortal Kombat’s Nintendo Switch version last year. He found out that Ash is on the list of prospects.
What’s with the chainsaw?
A trailer was released which announced the arrival of Shang Tsung, but there was something else too. Fans noticed that the trailer had chainsaw sounds at the end of it, which could be the calling signal for Ash to come. As in Evil Dead 2, Williams replaced his arm with a chainsaw; this became the weapon that everyone relates with Ash.
But there is still no sign of Ash, only hints
Even after many teases and hints and insinuations, we haven’t seen Ash in Mortal Kombat as of yet, which might be a cause for concern for the fans awaiting the crossover. And Ed Boon, the co-creator of Mortal Kombat, talked about this on a podcast that it might be difficult for the demon slayer to make an appearance. (Difficult mind you, not impossible)
On the positive end, in this podcast only, he acknowledged the fans’ request to bring back Mileena.
And then there’s Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath
This will be the first time, and the Mortal Kombat will include story elements. There are two returning characters too, Fujin and Sheeva.
NetherRealm Studios have also released Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Kollection, which comes with the base game,  Aftermath DLC, and a Kombat Pack that unlocks all the DLC fighters released so far.
