Mark Ruffalo, Catherine Keener, and Ryan Reynolds will Lead the Cast of “The Adam Project”

Mark Ruffalo and Catherine Keener have joined Ryan Reynolds in the cast ensemble of the film “The Adam Project,” which will be developed by Skydance and Netflix. The movie will be helmed by Shawn Levy, and the production started last week in Vancouver.

Mark Ruffalo, Catherine Keener, and Ryan Reynolds will star in the science fiction featurette, which will be a product of Skydance and Netflix.

The project is likely to feature Zoe Saldana and Jennifer Garner as well, and apart from that, a man on debut, Walker Scobell, and Alex Mallari Jr. have already been signed up.

Reynolds will play the role of a time traveler who travels back 13 years to seek the help of his younger self. The plot details reveal that both the older and younger version of the Reynolds character will search for their late father so that they can make things right in the future.

Ruffalo will portray the role of Reynolds’ father, who is an exceptional scientist. Catherine Keener will be portraying the role of an antagonist character who steals something very powerful from the scientist.

Walker Scobell will portray the role of Reynolds’ younger version while Mallari will be a working partner of the villain, which, as it has already been mentioned above, will be played by Jennifer Keener.

Shawn Levy, who already has experience of working alongside Ryan Reynolds (both of them have worked on the film “Free Guy”), will steer the wheel for the film.

Shawn Levy will be producing the film under the banner of his production house “21 Laps,” Reynolds will oversee the project under the banner of his production house “Maximum Effort” while David Ellison will represent “Skydance” in the production team. All three of them were a part of the pre-production operations, and now they are in Vancouver to complete the principal photography of the film.

“The Adam Project” will mark the first-ever cinematic venture of “The Group Effort Initiative,” which is a program founded by Reynolds. It is a self-sustained program which aims to bring more diversity and inclusion in the industry by giving racial people an opportunity to work and learn in one of Reynolds’ projects.

The initiative program is a result of a partnership between Maximum Effort and B for Effort (which is a production house founded by Blake Lively).

Ruffalo has had a good time recently (and this is not to mention his two big Avengers films) as he has bagged an Emmy award in the Best Actor category for his work in the limited series “I Know This Much is True.” He was in a double role in the series apart from being an executive producer in the production team.

Apart from the last two Avengers films, he has starred in the film “Dark Waters,” which was an account on the environment and was directed by Todd Haynes.

Catherine Keener, who brilliantly portrayed the villainous role of a psychic in the suspenseful film “Get Out,” will be again seen in a negative role. The actress will also be heard in Croods 2 as she has been signed up for the voice cast along with Reynolds and the actress Emma Stone.
