Sony and Microsoft came together in a historical deal for gaming last year. And even though the presentation is more about the headliners from third parties and triple-A productions, there are still things to look out for if you’re a budget gaming fan. There are many different titles to choose from overall. But these three are the most eye-catching ones that fans are awaiting.
Showcased along with publisher Nacon’s special Connect presentation, it announced the following games:
Steelrising, Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong and, Werewolf: The Apocalypse.
Here’s some more about these games and when can you expect them to be released.
- Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong
This is the latest video game based on Mark Rein-Hagen’s tabletop game by the same name. A parallelly running story of three vampires, you play every character as you progress ahead. The three belong to different clans of Camarilla. Your choices, your understanding of the world blurred from reality to fiction, decided the fate of Boston.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong will be available on Epic Games Store and for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in 2021.
- Steelrising
Developed by Spiders, the French studio famous for unconventional RPGs such as GreedFall and The Technomacer, is out and about with another crazy looking RPG game. Set in a truly reimagined 18th Century France, the game gives an eerie vibe to look at. The presentation was put together by using some concept art and pre-rendered cutscenes which show the player playing as Marie Antoinette’s bodyguard. You are tracking down the one who made you as you are fighting off the King’s Rouge soldiers in his defense.
- Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood
Developed by Cyanide and published by Nacon, the game takes place in the World of Darkness. The story is based on White Wolf Publishing’s tabletop with the same name minus the ‘EarthBlood’. Cahal must find his way back to home, or whatever’s left of it, as Caern is in danger. Along with his friends and family facing deadly consequences. The evil corporation, Endron, has surrounded them from the inside. The corrupted run deep and wide. The only way to fight it? Use the unique powers of the Werewolf to end this sorcery. Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood will be released to Epic Games Store, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X on 4th February 2021.
