Pixel 4a 5G Vs. iPhone SE: Apple’s Budget iPhone & Google’s 5G Phone Compared

Google’s Pixel 4a (5G) offers 5G and the Google camera, but it is more than USD 100 than the Apple iPhone SE. Pixel 4a (5G) is Google’s newest budget phone that supports 5G. This is the primary reason for comparing this phone with Apple’s iPhone SE. Let us compare these two budget-friendly phones based on their specifications, which will reveal the hardware categories of both the phones.

Apple has been manufacturing smartphones since 2007, designing both software and hardware for an excellent integrated experience. Although Apple products are not completely trouble-free, the company has high customer satisfaction ratings in every category, starting from phone to tablet, watch, and computer. On the other hand, Google is one of the best search engines so far. It has further expanded to develop Android offering several cloud services. Google has been making its smartphones for quite a long time, and now the Pixel series gained huge fame due to its artificial intelligence and a great camera.

Google’s Pixel 4a (5G) is an awesome phone with a variety of features that are quite similar to Pixel 5. The price of Pixel 4a (5G) is USD 499. The price of Google’s top phone is USD 200 less than the price of the Pixel 4a (5G) but USD 100 more than the Apple iPhone SE. However, the Pixel 4a (5G) has a limited capability, but 5G is an excellent addition to the Pixel lineup.

Screens, Cameras, Processors, Storage & More

The Pixel 4a (5G) includes a 6.2-inch OLED screen, dual cameras with a standard, and ultrawide. The phone also has 128-gigabytes of storage and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G. On the other hand, if we compare these specifications of Pixel 4a (5G) with Apple iPhone SE, you will find most of the specifications and features a bit similar. The only thing where Apple is winning the competition is its impressive build. It has an aluminum body, IP67 water resistance rating, and of course, an Apple logo. The Apple brand will never want to compromise with their reliability and quality. The iPhone SE allows access to an Apple smartphone at a very reasonable price of USD 399.

As compared to the Pixel 4a (5G), the iPhone SE has a single rear camera, no wide-angle, and 64-gigabytes of storage. The iPhone SE has a 4.7-inch LCD display. So, in terms of a better picture, the Pixel 4a (5G) wins the competition with the iPhone SE. If we talk about the battery life of both the phones, the Pixel 4a (5G) has a much larger battery, and Google claims up to 48 hours of life with Extreme Battery Saver enabled. On the other hand, the iPhone SE also has great battery life, but its tiny design is ideal for those that have issues with large phones.

After discussing and exploring the features and specifications of both the phones, Pixel 4a (5G) and iPhone SE, we have concluded that the Pixel 4a (5G) is far better than the iPhone SE in my opinion. However, if you are an Apple-lover, you may opt for iPhone SE because of its fantastic exterior design and IP67 water resistance rating. It will also depend upon your choices, budget, and priorities.
